Operational tasks include providing supply in consistency with the procurement procedure in
order to assure that needed goods or services are ordered and delivered on time. This includes,
but is not limited to, revising purchase order requests and evaluating quotations, issuing
purchase orders, supporting supplier master data management and performing other
operational purchasing related activities.

• Issuing orders and processing requested changes for the entities in scope of duties
• Supporting and acting as a person of contact during purchase requisition creation
• Analysis of any blocked invoices related to procurement and making sure necessary changes are executed on time
• Close cooperation with finance department, respective strategic buyer and suppliers
• Creating new vendors
• Contacting internal partners from different countries to obtain required information/approvals
• Making sure that incoming queries are handled in a professional and timely manner
• Taking an active part in keeping process documentation up to date
• Identifying process improvements initiatives and actively taking part in the implementation
• Processing transport insurance claims
• Maintenance of logistics purchase orders
