Responsibilities

  • Support SAP enhancement package implementations 
  • Support other teams for data / test preparations 
  • Support authorisation set-up (in line with J-SOX compliance) 
  • Identification of  steps to be taken to achieve goals, planning activities for yourself and others and ensure that the tasks are delivered in time 
  • Strong cooperation and communication with:  
  • Other ERP teams to realize a functioning purchasing, storage, sales & distribution flow (especially SD, EDI, Master Data and CS) 
  • European HQ-Organization such as FEN-Logistics, Corporate Finance 
  • Logistics Service Providers (e.g. IDL, YUSEN, K&N, DHL, DB Schenker, CEVA) 
  • European business domains to check requirements and agree on final processes.   
  • European country coordinators and Power Users  
  • Training activities to keep an up-to-date power user community 
  • Substitute for other Logistical Team Members 
  • Member of sub-teams, business projects 
  • Contact for all other teams for logistics related topics 
  • Execution of trouble shooting activities that require diagnosis, analysis and interpretation, creation of functional specification (for customizing & development (ABAP))
  • basic customizing in SAP 
  • Define functional descriptions for Masterdata & Interfaces 
  • IDOC error handling 
  • Effort and risk evaluation for technical changes especially with regards to potential side-effects on existing processes (cross-module) 
  • Documentation of issue solving (development requests, userguidesProjectPoint status updates) 
  • Active testing (development)  and support for user acceptance testing 
  • Preparation of masterdata creation and mass change activities 
  • Follow-up activities like ticket control (completion/closure)
  • Enhancement and customization of existing SAP functions 
  • Monitoring of Live-System cross domain/cross company to avoid potential issues
  • Proposes / initiates long-term improvements (decision based on ROI rules) 
  • Supports corporate divisions on establishment of european rules and processes (acts as inhouse-consultant) by providing analytical and technical expertise
  • Design, develop and support processes on organizational level by business domain for MM,IM and WMS
  • Support authorisation set-up (in line with J-SOX compliance)
  • Train power-users and end-users on the new processes and support during change over and stabilization phase

Qualifications

  • Project-work experiences 
  • Excellent technical as well as functional knowledge about all SAP Logistics processes and the interfaces to other areas 
  • Good IT-knowledge (esp. SAP, Excel) 
  • Good English knowledge, nice to have Multilanguage knowledge 
  • Personal skills in order to cooperate with people from different countries, people from other teams and of course colleagues on all levels (end-user to managers) 
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (including presentation) 
  • Ability to cope under pressure and to persevere 
  • Ability to identify the steps to be taken to achieve objectives, plan the activities for yourself and others and ensure that the tasks are delivered in time 
  • Taking personal responsibility for actions
